Tsmitty’s started in 1998 in the garage of the Smiths. Thomas decided to make his passion for computers a career after experiencing several dead end jobs, the kinds where you are only as good as what you do that day. Thomas became A Plus Certified and worked for several IT companies as well as contract jobs. Thanks to the persistence and the support of his wife Tsmitty’s was born. His wife questioned why he was doing all the work and while others made the money. Armed with the principals of honesty, hard work and a fair price their journey began.

In 2007 with the vision of creating a place to provide an internet lounge, computer repairs, computer purchases and a training facility the Smiths opened. The Computer Den provided training on Windows Operating Systems and Office Suites of products in English and Spanish.

The Computer Den moved to South Austin in March 2009.
